Product Warnings for Neodymium Magnets

  1. Choking Hazard: This product contains small parts and strong magnets. Keep away from children and pets to prevent accidental ingestion or choking.

  2. Swallowed Magnets: If more than one magnet is swallowed, they can attract to each other through intestinal walls, causing serious injury or death. Seek immediate medical attention if magnets are swallowed or inhaled.

  3. Pinching Hazard: Neodymium magnets are very strong and can pinch fingers or skin if not handled carefully. Handle with caution to avoid injury.

  4. Pacemakers and Medical Devices: Magnets can interfere with pacemakers and other implanted medical devices. Keep a safe distance from these devices (at least 12 inches) to avoid interference.

  5. Electrical Interference: Neodymium magnets can affect the operation of electronic devices. Keep them away from credit cards, computer disks, and other electronic storage devices to prevent damage.

  6. Magnetic Attraction: Strong magnetic fields can cause objects to be attracted with great force, potentially causing injury. Keep magnets away from ferromagnetic materials and other magnets to avoid sudden attractions.

  7. Crushing Hazard: Large neodymium magnets can cause serious injury if they collide with each other or with ferromagnetic objects. Use protective gloves and eyewear when handling large magnets.

  8. Heat Sensitivity: Neodymium magnets lose their magnetic properties at high temperatures. Avoid exposing them to heat above 80°C (176°F).

  9. Corrosion Risk: Neodymium magnets can corrode if exposed to moisture. Store them in a dry environment to prevent rust and deterioration.

  10. Fire Hazard: In case of a fire, neodymium magnets may produce toxic fumes. Use appropriate fire-fighting measures and avoid inhaling smoke.

  11. Eye Protection: Always wear protective eyewear when handling or working near magnets to protect your eyes from flying debris if magnets snap together unexpectedly.

  12. Handling with Metal Tools: When using metal tools around magnets, be aware of the strong attraction force. Tools can be pulled towards the magnet with significant force, posing a risk of injury.

Storage and Disposal

  1. Safe Storage: Store magnets in a secure location away from electronic devices and other magnets. Use spacers or keep magnets in a padded container to prevent accidental collisions.

  2. Proper Disposal: Dispose of magnets in accordance with local regulations. Do not incinerate or dispose of in regular trash, as they may pose environmental hazards.
